Welcome to 2020 in The Block

This year, The Block is a big class of 75 students and 4 teachers. We are all in year 3 and 4. The teachers in our shared space are Miss Scanlan, Ms Tumahai, Mrs Carruthers and Miss Szymanik. 

Here are our awesome class mates who received Duffy and Triathlon certificates so far this year!

Elijah and Toran were the youngest students in our school who participated in the Weetbix Triathlon this year. Well done boys!

Carnival Day 2019

The Junior Carnival at the end of 2019 was an awesome way to end the year! The year 1-4's had so much fun eating ice cream, bouncing on bouncy castles and getting soaking wet on a hot summer day.

Basketball at kiwisport

We learnt how to play basketball for Kiwisport this term. It was so much fun! We got really good at shooting hoops.

The Boy Who Lost His Mind

Welcome to The Block 2019

This year we have 85 children in The Block and 4 teachers. We've had a great start to the term so far. Here are some of the smiley faces from Miss Scanlan's swimming group. We have had swimming for 3 weeks which has been so nice in the summer time!

We love this song because it reminds us to be brave and unashamed of who we are no matter what anyone says. Never let anyone's words get you down.

Poly Strong Challenge

This term, The Block has been getting active by trying out different dance challenges. Each week, we get into groups to learn or create a new dance. The Poly Strong challenge celebrates all cultures.
